Terms of Sale

Upon purchasing a ticket to the Deckchair Cinema, the purchaser agrees to be bound by the rules and regulations of the Deckchair Cinema as well as by the Liquor License that applies within the Deckchair Cinema site.

Movie Cancellation

If a movie session is cancelled or terminated due to an occurrence outside of the Deckchair Cinema’s control, such as a mechanical breakdown or power outage, the Deckchair Cinema will provide a complimentary ticket redeemable for the same ticket type for a future session. Complimentary tickets are subject to capacity and entry to any particular session is not guaranteed. We will always endeavour to let all ticket-holders and the general public know of any movie cancellation as soon as possible.

Resale of tickets

Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes. If a ticket is used in breach of these conditions, it may be cancelled without refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission. Exceptions may apply only in cases where explicit permission has been granted by the Deckchair Cinema management.

Personal Information

Any personal information that the Deckchair Cinema collects from your use of this website will be maintained in accordance with Deckchair Cinema’s privacy policy.

GST

GST applies to the purchase of products and services from this Site and will be charged at the time of purchase.

Refunds

• Incorrect or Change of Mind purchases are NOT guaranteed a refund.
 
• Swapping tickets for another session may be possible up to 5pm on the day of the screening. Tickets cannot be guaranteed to another session of the  same movie. Exchanging of tickets is at the discretion of Deckchair Management.
 
•Refunding of ticket sales is only possible when a screening is cancelled. Cancellation of a screening is at the discretion of Deckchair Management. 
 
• Prepaid gift vouchers and gift cards cannot be replaced or refunded if lost, stolen or damaged.
 
• Prepaid gift vouchers and gift cards cannot be refunded and change will not be given irrespective of cinema pricing.
 
• Prepaid gift vouchers and gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
 
• Persons holding Complimentary Vouchers, Movie Vouchers, Gift Vouchers and Gift Cards may present their vouchers at the    Deckchair Cinema Box Office in exchange for an admission ticket (subject to capacity and exclusions). Admission is not guaranteed to Sold Out sessions.
 
• Booking fees will not be refunded.

Currency

All items for sale (tickets, vouchers, membership, etc) on this website are priced in AUD.
