Deckchair Cinema now has hot food available on site 7 nights a week.
The Box Office opens at 6.30pm every night, giving you an hour to enjoy some delicious cuisine, a drink from our fully licensed kiosk and the ambience until the 7:30pm screening.

Cedar Tree Café Menu

Sunday and Monday nights at Deckchair are catered for by “The Cedar Tree.” Proprietor “Sou Sou” our “Lebanese food Extraordinaire” is making quite a name for herself around Darwin with her amazing Lebanese cuisine.

Vegetarian dishes:	Hummus (Chickpea Dip) Baba Ganouj (Eggplant Dip) Salatate Hummus (Chickpea Salad)
Meat dishes:	Koftah (Traditional Lamb Skewers) Sambousik (Savoury Lamb Pastries) Mannsef (Chicken with Saffron & Cardamon Rice)

Trina’s Catering Menu

Tuesday and Saturday nights are catered for by “Trina’s Homebaked Catering.” Come along and enjoy some traditional homebaked meals.

Vegetarian dishes:	Cheese & Spinach Pies (served with salad) Zucchini & Pumpkin Frittata (served with salad) Bean Nachos
Meat dishes:	Creamy Thai Green Curry Chicken Bake Ricotta, Ham & Tomato Lasagne Roast of the Day Served with Mashed Potato & Gravy
Dessert:	Homemade Banana Bread Pumpkin Scones & Assorted homemade Cakes

Tastes of Timor Leste Menu

Wednesday and Friday nights are catered for by “Taste of Timor Leste”. Jennifer and David have some truly mouth-watering meals to try, you can also catch these guys at the Mindil Beach Markets.

Vegetarian dishes:	Eggplant curry with fresh tomato & spices
Seafood dishes:	Grilled fresh Barra with chilli, coriander & fresh lime juice served with coconut rice & budu ( tomato salsa) Grilled fresh prawns served with coconut rice & budu Cod cakes
Meat dishes:	Marinated chicken grilled in a piri-piri sauce & served with coconut rice & budu Galinha com Caril – Creamy curry chicken in a mild bay leaf & tomato curry served with coconut rice & budu Chicken or Beef satays

Fundraising Nights

Thursday nights are fundraising nights. Every week a different non profit community organization holds a night at the cinema to raise funds for their cause. They provide a variety of different hot foods, tea, coffee & cakes so come down and support the local community!

Our food vendors always try to cater to everyone tastes. They have vegetarian options nightly, and weekly options. So come down early and try some delicious food at the Deckchair!
